Moselle air defense command

The Mosel air defense command was a command staff at the brigade level of the Luftwaffe during World War II . The establishment of the brigade staff took place on October 16, 1939 by renaming and increasing the regimental staff of the Flak Regiment 7 . On May 15, 1940, the staff was renamed the Air Defense Command Luxembourg . The Moselle air defense command was tactically subordinate to the Luftgau Command XII and took over the operational management of the German flak forces in the Mosel area with a command post in Mayen .
