Invasion from Mars is an American movie from the year 1953 . The SciFi - horror film of director William Cameron Menzies with Helena Carter and Jimmy Hunt in the lead roles , the one invasion of Earth by aliens describes in 1986 under the same title by Tobe Hooper neuverfilmt.

Little David watches as a spaceship lands behind his parents' house and digs into a sand hill. Nobody wants to believe him at first. The first victim is David's father, who wants to see because of a hunch and turns up the next day, very changed for the worse. As more and more residents behave in an extremely strange way, the doctor Dr. Blake on the matter. Because of her contacts to space research, a military machine begins to run. Meanwhile, more people are kidnapped by the aliens using the sand hill as a trap. It turns out that the Martians put receivers in the neck of their victims, whom they abuse as assassins against a missile station. After the crime has taken place, the manipulated - two police officers, the chief of police, a general and the underage daughter of a researcher - are then also killed by these recipients. David's parents can be captured and rescued from the recipients through surgery. While tanks distract the Martians by shelling, a team under Colonel Fielding manages to penetrate the tunnel system created by the aliens and then into the spaceship. There, the kidnapped during the siege of the area, Dr. Blake and David just got inserted under the gaze of a head and tentacle leader and receiver. Your liberation succeeds. In the German version, the film ends with the start of the spaceship, which explodes due to the explosive charge attached by the soldiers.

In the original American version (there is obviously a very different British version), David wakes up after the spaceship explodes and goes into his parents' bedroom. They explain to him that he had a bad dream. When he goes back to bed, a strong wind begins to blow and a rumble of thunder like at the beginning of the film. David gets up and sees the spaceship land again.
