Irineu Andreassa

Irineu Andreassa OFM (born December 15, 1949 in Iacri ) is a Brazilian religious and Roman Catholic bishop of Ituiutaba .

Life

Irineu Andreassa who entered religious community of Franciscans in and received on 16 December 1978, the priestly ordination .

Pope Benedict XVI appointed him bishop of Lages on November 11, 2009. He received his episcopal ordination on January 24th of the following year by the Bishop of Bauru , Caetano Ferrari OFM; Co- consecrators were Osvaldo Giuntini , Bishop of Marília , and João Oneres Marchiori , Former Bishop of Lages. The inauguration in the diocese of Lages took place on February 28, 2010. As a motto he chose FAZER O AMOR SER AMADO .

On November 30, 2016, Pope Francis appointed him Bishop of Ituiutaba .
