Irma Noseda

Irma Noseda (born July 18, 1946 ; † January 18, 2019 in Savognin ) was a Swiss art historian .

Noseda studied art history at the universities of Zurich , Stockholm and Singapore with the minor subjects European ethnology ( folklore ), Scandinavian literature and languages ​​( Nordic studies ) and completed her studies with a licentiate at the University of Zurich with the thesis “On the problem of art communication in theory and practice »From. In 1987 she founded the arge baukunst office with Martin Steinmann and wrote books and articles on architecture and urban planning . She dealt in particular with the tension between property developers and the community in Swiss cities. Noseda died in 2019 after suffering from cancer.
