Irnfritz is a village and a cadastral municipality in the municipality of Irnfritz-Messern in the Horn district in Lower Austria .

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there were a total of 101 building areas with 46,999 m² and 103 gardens on 72,403 m² in the cadastral community Irnfritz , in 1989/1990 there were 158 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had grown to 246 and in 2009/2010 there were 227 buildings on 492 building areas.

Land use

The cadastral community is characterized by agriculture. 215 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of the year 1979/1980 and 276 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 204 hectares and 275 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 183 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 273 hectares. The average soil climate in Irnfritz is 35.2 (as of 2010).
