Sitzendorf is a village and a cadastral municipality in the municipality of Irnfritz-Messern in the Horn district in Lower Austria .

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there were a total of 24 building areas with 12,936 m² and 22 gardens on 31,786 m² in the cadastral community Sitzendorf , in 1989/1990 there were 24 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had grown to 49 and in 2009/2010 there were 23 buildings on 50 building areas.

Land use

The cadastral community is characterized by agriculture. 114 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of the year 1979/1980 and 48 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 114 hectares and 51 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 108 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 51 hectares. The average soil climate of Sitzendorf is 28.5 (as of 2010).
