As a peasantry, Isens is a district of Burhave in the municipality of Butjadingen in the Wesermarsch district .

history

Isens is a Wurt endorf. The first mention was in 1315 as "Isindse". In the 19th and 20th Century belonged to the peasantry Isens, Cöln, Harmhusen, Isenserwisch, Groß- and Klein-Schrappschöttelei. Around 1800 there was a school in Isens, but it was soon added to the school in Sillens .
