Postal History Department
The postal exhibition focuses on the history of the post in the city of Iserlohn and the county of Mark . It is pointed out that it was only through the post office that metalworking in Iserlohn could flourish in the 18th and 19th centuries. Information about personalities such as Heinrich von Stephan and the technical development of the postal system put the regional history into an overall context.
