The Westphalian Carnival Museum in Menden (Sauerland) is dedicated to the history of the Westphalian Carnival from the 16th century.

In addition to carnival medals , original costumes, hats and other props, the exhibits also include replicas of a historical confetti machine and a streamer winding roller. A multimedia show shows excerpts from carnival events in Westphalia .

The museum is housed in the Teufelsturm . The tower is one of ten defensive towers of the city fortifications, which were built in 1344 and was renovated between 1978 and 1981 by members of the Menden Carnival Society Kornblumenblau (MKG). The sponsor of the museum is the Teufelsturm Foundation - home of the Westphalian Carnival , whose donors are the city of Menden (Sauerland), the Federation of Westphalian Carnival and the MKG.
