Jürgen Schwalm

Jürgen Schwalm (* 1932 in Leipzig ) is a German poet doctor .

Life

Schwalm grew up in Kiel , Berlin and Austria and graduated from high school in Einbeck . His medical studies took him to Freiburg and Düsseldorf . After receiving his doctorate in Kiel, he settled in Lübeck as a dermatologist in 1965 . The practice existed until 1996.

In 1978 Schwalm began to work as a lecturer for the almanac of German-speaking writers-doctors . Schwalm was its editor between 1985 and 2002.

In his writings he deals, among other things, with the burning of books , and he has also published on Annette Kolb , Waldemar Bonsels and Gustav Falke . Schwalm also published his own lyrics, some of which were set to music, by Michael Goldstein and Hartmut Leistritz , among others . Schwalm also created plastic works of art and is a blogger .
