Jürgen Ulderup

Jürgen Ulderup (born October 11, 1910 in Cuxhaven ; † April 23, 1991 in Stemwede-Haldem ) was a German entrepreneur and founder of the Dr. Jürgen Ulderup Foundation named after him .

Life

Jürgen Ulderup was born in Cuxhaven on the North Sea during the German Empire .

In 1934, Ulderup wrote his dissertation on the state of world air traffic and its problems, especially in Germany, at what was then the Technical University of Berlin, which is now the Technical University of Berlin . From March 1944 he was the operator of the Zittwerke Aktiengesellschaft .

After the Second World War and still during the time of the British occupation zone , Ulderup founded the company Lemförder Metallwarengesellschaft (LMG), which was registered in the commercial register of Diepholz in 1947 .

Ulderup's life's work was the development of the company ZF Lemförder, with which he made a significant contribution to the economic development of the region around the Dümmer and which later became part of the internationally active stock corporation group of ZF Friedrichshafen .

Nearly a decade before his death, the entrepreneur in 1983 co-founded with his wife Irmgard (1922-2011), the Dr.-Jürgen-Ulderup Foundation , which in February 2009 with the Irmgard-Ulderup Foundation to Dr. Jürgen and Irmgard Ulderup Foundation was combined.
