JC Spink

Jeffrey Christian Spink (born February 25, 1972 in Philadelphia , Pennsylvania , † April 18, 2017 in West Hollywood , California ) was an American film producer .

Life

Spink attended Bucknell University in Lewisburg , Pennsylvania. There he met Chris Bender , with whom he founded the film production company Bendersprink in 1998 , after they had both worked together at Zide-Perry Productions after graduating . In the first business year they were able to sell 20 film scripts. As of 2001, Bendersprink had a contract with New Line Cinema , for which they brought numerous Hollywood productions on the way, including Butterfly Effect , A History of Violence and The Monster-in-Law . With We're the MillersSpink and Bender landed their greatest financial success, the film grossing over $ 270 million at the box office. After 18 years, Bendersprink was dissolved in May 2016.

JC Spink was found lifeless by his brother at his West Hollywood home on April 18, 2017.
