Jacopo Dezi (born February 10, 1992 in Atri ) is an Italian football player . The midfielder is currently under contract with SSC Napoli and is loaned out to Parma Calcio .

Career

In the club

Jacopo Dezi, originally from Atri , started his football training in 2008 at the age of 16 in the youth department of Giulianova Calcio , where he was active for two years. At the age of 17 he made his debut for Giulianova's team, which played in the third- tier Lega Pro Prima Divisione . During the 2009/10 season , at the end of which the team relegated to the Lega Pro Seconda Divisione , Dezi completed 18 games for the Abruzzo .

Due to his performances at Giulianova, the first division club SSC Napoli became aware of Dezi and engaged him in the summer of 2010 for his youth academy. After his last junior season, he moved up to the professional squad of the Neapolitans for the 2011/12 season . Although he celebrated winning the Coppa Italia with the Azzurri , he remained without a stake in all competitions. Because of this, Dezi was awarded to the SS Barletta Calcio , for which he completed 26 league games in the 2012/13 season and scored seven goals. In the play-offs for relegation you could prevail against AS Andria BAT and keep the class. After his return to the SSC he was awarded again, this time to the second division club FC Crotone . During the 2013/14 season Dezi became a regular player and reached sixth place with Crotone, which entitled to participate in the play-offs for promotion . There they were defeated by AS Bari with 0: 3. In the summer of 2014, Crotone acquired half of Dezi's transfer rights from Naples, keeping him under contract. In the following season , however, the team could not build on the performance and ended the season in the lower third of the league table.

For the 2015/16 season , Naples acquired the complete transfer rights back to Dezi. In January 2016 it was awarded to the second division club FC Bari 1908 . A one-year loan to AC Perugia Calcio followed in summer 2016 . Dezi has been playing on loan at Parma Calcio since summer 2017 .

In the national team

Dezi was called up for friendly and qualifying matches for the U-21 European Championship in 2014 and played four games in which he scored one goal. For the European Championship squad of the Italians , however, he was not considered.
