Jacqueline Allen (born June 17, 1983 in Stoke-on-Trent ; as Jacqueline Slack; short form Jacqui ) is a British triathlete , Vice-European Cross-Triathlon Champion (2016) and reigning Vice-World Cross-Triathlon Champion (2017).

Career

Jacqui Slack came to the triathlon at the age of 21, she started in 2010 in Lausanne at the first edition of the Triathlon World Championship on the sprint distance and finished 17th.

Today she is mainly active in cross triathlon - in races in the Xterra series. In 2012 she came second in the European Tour classification of the Xterra racing series.

In September 2015 she was fourth in Sardinia at the ITU World Championship Cross Triathlon.

Vice European Champion Cross Triathlon 2016

In June 2016 she became Vice-European Cross-Triathlon Champion in Switzerland. She finished seventh at the Xterra World Championships in Hawaii in October. In November she finished seventh at the World Cross Triathlon Championships in Australia.

Vice-World Champion Cross-Triathlon 2017

She has been married to the Australian triathlete Ben Allen since March 2017 and they both live in their birthplace, Stoke-on-Trent.
In August she was runner-up in the cross triathlon world championship. Two days later she also started at the Aquathlon World Championship and finished third in Canada.

In April 2018 Jacqueline Allen won the Xterra New Zealand for the third time after 2012 and 2017 .

Jacqui Allen is trained by Alex Hall and she starts for the Lurbel team.
