Jai Young Park (* 1957 in Seoul , South Korea ) is a German artist of South Korean origin.
Life
In 1966 from his native South Korea to Munich meantime, moved Park studied from 1979 to 1984 (with Hans Baschang ) painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich . In the meantime, he studied Eastern Painting, Philosophy and Art History (master class) at Hong-lk University in his native city from 1985 to 1986 , before spending long periods in New York City and Providence from 1989 onwards . From 1998 to 2004 he was professor for plastic and multimedia at the State University for Design Karlsruhe at the ZKM .

- 1999: "Hydra, the mediatized gaze always gives birth to new monsters", a media installation, DKM Foundation, Duisburg
- 2000: “Las Meninas”, a picture-montage-transfer, Hans Belting in a studio of the university in Karlsruhe can be seen in a picture which hangs in the Museo del Prado . The image is explained to the audience in the Sejong Cultural Center in Seoul in a live interview.
