Jailton de Oliveira Lino
Jailton de Oliveira Lino PSDP (born January 28, 1965 in Feira de Santana , Bahia , Brazil ) is a Brazilian religious and Roman Catholic bishop of Teixeira de Freitas-Caravelas .
Life
Jailton de Oliveira Lino joined the order of the Poor Servants of Divine Providence and made profession on January 1, 1985 . He received on 17 December 1988, the sacrament of Holy Orders .
On November 15, 2017, Pope Francis appointed him Bishop of Teixeira de Freitas-Caravelas. The archbishop emeritus of Feira de Santana , Itamar Navildo Vian OFMCap , donated him episcopal ordination on January 13, 2018 ; Co- consecrators were the Bishop of Osório , Jaime Pedro Kohl PSDP, and the Bishop of Caxias do Sul , Alessandro Carmelo Ruffinoni CS . The inauguration took place on February 9, 2018.
