Jaime Rafael Fuentes Martín (born March 2, 1945 in Montevideo ) is a Uruguayan clergyman and emeritus Roman Catholic Bishop of Minas .

Life

Jaime Rafael Fuentes Martín joined Opus Dei and was ordained a priest on August 5, 1973 .

Pope Benedict XVI appointed him Bishop of Minas on October 16, 2010. The episcopal ordination donated him the bishop of Maldonado-Punta del Este , Rodolfo Pedro Wirz Kraemer , on November 28 of the same year; Co- consecrators were Roberto Reinaldo Cáceres González , former Bishop of Melo , and Pablo Jaime Galimberti di Vietri , Bishop of Salto .

On March 2, 2020, Pope Francis accepted Jaime Rafael Fuentes Martín's resignation due to reasons of age.
