Jakob Oftebro

Jakob Oftebro (born January 12, 1986 in Oslo ) is a Norwegian actor and voice actor .
Life
Oftebro began studying acting as the youngest participant in 2004 at the age of 18 at Statens teaterhøgskole in Oslo. In 2007 Oftebro initially worked at Rogaland Teater in Stavanger and then continued to study at Statens Teaterskole in Copenhagen the following year .
Oftebro then started performing at Mungo Park Theater in Allerød north of Copenhagen . In 2009 he worked as a guest comedian and presenter in the 7th season of the TV2 entertainment series Torsdag kveld fra Nydalen . In 2012 he played in the Norwegian NRK series Erobreren with that on January Kjærstads trilogy The abuser ( Forføreren ), The Conqueror ( Erobreren ) and The Explorers ( Oppdageren based). In the series he played the leading role of the young Jonas Wergeland, with which he achieved greater fame in Norway. Also in 2012, Oftebro appeared in the film Kon-Tiki in the role of Torstein Raaby . Kon-Tiki was the awarding of the Oscars in the category Foreign Language Film Best of 2013 nominated.
In 2013 he played the role of Johannes in the film adaptation of Knut Hamsun's novel Victoria . Oftebro also played a role in the Danish-Swedish crime series The Bridge - Transit to Death and in the Danish history series 1864 and in the Norwegian-US crime series Lilyhammer . He also had a double role in the 2004 film Bare Bea and starred in the 2008 film Max Manus , Lars-Emil Erichsen, a Norwegian resistance fighter during World War II. The Norsk filminstitutt nominated Oftebro for the Shooting Star award of the Berlinale for 2014 . In 2014 Oftebro appeared in the Danish history series 1864 in a leading role as Laust, for which he was awarded the Nordens språkpris (Nordic Language Prize). He also had roles in Dome Karukoski's international production Tom of Finland (2017) and Boudewijn Koole's Dutch-Norwegian production Das Discovery (2017) .
He also worked as a voice actor in animation and cartoons .
Jakob Oftebro is the son of the actor Nils Ole Oftebro and his divorced wife, the cultural journalist Kaja Korsvold . His younger half-brother Jonas Hoff Oftebro comes from his father's second marriage to the actress Anette Hoff and is also an actor.
