Stig Hoffmeyer (born May 27, 1940 in Hillerød , Denmark ) is a Danish actor and voice actor .

Life

Hoffmeyer completed a law degree by 1964. Meanwhile he was already appearing in the student scene , including in the play Dværgen der blev væk . After completing his studies, due to this experience, he concentrated on working as an actor; the autodidact did not have any actual acting training . He had his first success in the Svaliegen Theater in Aarhus in the 1960s, in plays such as Slutspil and Stikord . After his engagement at the Aarhus Teater from 1973 to 1978 , he moved to the capital, where he worked at various Copenhagen theaters, including Det Kongelige Teater and in plays such as Richard III. or Anna Sophie Hedvig performed. He also performed at the Gladsaxe Teater, the Hippodrome, the Rialto Teatret, the Folketeatret , the Privat Teatret or the Husets Teater. In 2001 he was awarded the Danish artist prize Ole Haslunds Kunstnerfond .

Hoffmeyer also made several appearances in Danish film and television . He worked in the series Landsbyen , Kald mig Liva , Ved Stillebækken , Unit One - The Specialists , Nikolaj and Julie and Commissioner Lund III and in Langt fra Las Vegas . In 2014 he appeared in the Danish history series 1864 as HC Andersen .

He was also active as a voice actor in animation and cartoons .

Hoffmeyer has been married to actress Kirsten Lehfeldt since 1975 , they have a daughter, Mille Hoffmeyer Lehfeldt , who also works as an actress.
