Jan-Jaap Natte (born May 29, 1979 in Rotterdam ) is a former Dutch ice hockey player who has been under contract with HYS The Hague in the Dutch honor division since 2011 .

Career

Clubs

Jan-Jaap Natte began his career as an ice hockey player with the Utrecht Rheem Racers , for which he made his debut in the honor division at the age of 17 . From 1997 to 1999 he played for the Dordrecht Lions in the second-rate first division . He then returned to the honor division and was on the ice with the Boretti Tigers Amsterdam , with whom he was Dutch national champion in 2002 and 2003 and also won the cup competition in 2003 . After stints with the Tilburg Trappers and HYS The Hague , he returned to Amsterdam in 2005 and played another season for the club, which was now called the Amsterdam Bulldogs . With the Bulldogs he won the last edition of the Coupe der Lage Landen , a Belgian-Dutch competition. He then moved again to The Hague, where, with the exception of the 2010/11 season , when he gained international experience in Dortmund and Frankfurt , he played until the end of his career in 2014. With HYS The Hague he won the Dutch championship in 2009 and the cup competition in 2012. He also won the Belgian-Dutch North Sea Cup with the team in 2012 . With the Frankfurter Löwen he won the Regionalliga West in 2011 and was promoted to the Oberliga West .

International

Natte took part with the Dutch team in the U18-D European Championships in 1996 and the U18-C European Championships in 1997 .

With his country's men's national team , he took part in the Division I World Championships in 2003 , 2004 , 2010 , 2012 and 2013 .
