Jan "Fege" Fegter (born September 19, 1969 in Norden ) is a former German handball player .
Life
For Germany , Fegter played a total of 61 international matches between 1994 and 1996, scoring 167/14 goals.
Fegter began his career in 1987 in the 2nd handball league at SG VTB / Altjührden . He then moved to Bayer Leverkusen and then to the handball Bundesliga for SG Hameln . From 1995 to 2003 Fegter played for SG Flensburg-Handewitt , for which he completed 317 games in which he scored 779 goals. He then moved to the Wilhelmshaven HV for three years. In 2006 he returned for a year to the second team of SG Flensburg-Handewitt playing in the Regionalliga Nordost.
He used to run mostly on the back center and left positions. Most recently he played in the right backcourt.
Fegter is married to Imke and is a lawyer and notary in Flensburg at Hoeck Schlueter Vaagt.
