Jan Kliment (born September 1, 1993 in Jihlava ) is a Czech football player who also has Slovak citizenship. The striker is under contract with 1. FC Slovácko .

Career

society

Kliment made his professional debut in 2012 for his youth club FC Vysočina Jihlava . In 2014 it was awarded to the FK Dukla Banská Bystrica . For the 2015/16 season , Kliment moved to VfB Stuttgart . On June 29, 2015, he signed a contract dated June 30, 2019 with the Swabians. On October 3, 2015, he scored his first goal in the Bundesliga in the away game against TSG Hoffenheim to make it 1-1 (final score 2-2). He scored 61 seconds after being substituted on in the 64th minute.

On August 30, 2016 VfB Stuttgart Jan Kliment loaned until the end of season 2016/17 at Brøndby IF from. In July 2017, the Leigh business was extended for the 2017/18 season. In April 2018, Kliment tore a cruciate ligament. For the 2018/19 season , Kliment returned to Stuttgart and completed his rehab . He completed his first training sessions with the second team.

For the 2019/20 season , Kliment's contract was extended by one year. He stood in the squad since the second team , which in the pre-season in the fifth rate Oberliga Baden-Wuerttemberg was staying and for which he already in 2015 a game in the 3. Liga had graduated.

After 16 league appearances (six goals, four assists), the Czech left VfB during the winter break and moved back to his home country for first division club 1. FC Slovácko .

National team

On November 10, 2011, Kliment made his debut in qualifying for the U19 European Championship 2012 for the Czech U19 national team . In October 2013 he played in a four-nation tournament in Gemert for the Czech U20 national team against the Netherlands and Germany. Kliment took part with the U21 national team in the 2015 European Championship in his own country. In this tournament he scored three goals in the preliminary round against Serbia and was the top scorer .

On September 1, 2017, Kliment made his international A debut with the Czech Republic against Germany in qualifying for the 2018 World Cup .
