Jan Malte Andresen (born September 5, 1972 in Baden-Baden ) is a German television and radio presenter and freelance journalist .

He started his career as a radio presenter in 1990 at the Baden-Baden radio station Radio Merkur Mittelbadenwelle. From 1991 to 1993 Andresen moderated at the Welle Fidelitas in Karlsruhe , before the son of Schleswig-Holstein parents went to Kiel to join delta radio .

From 1995 to 1997 he was one of the first moderators of the newly founded WDR youth wave Eins Live in Cologne . At the same time, Andresen began working as a radio host on NDR 2 in January 1996 . Until July 18, 2006 he moderated there, most recently the morning broadcast, and established himself as one of the “Voices of the North”. After ten years of activity, he had to leave the station due to the rule that freelance workers are not employed by NDR for more than ten years.

From November 2006 to July 2008 he moderated the morning magazine , the midday magazine and Der Tag on WDR 2 . Since August 11, 2008 he has been moderating at NDR 1 Welle Nord . Initially, Andresen was the presenter of the morning program Guten Morgen Schleswig-Holstein for four years , initially with sidekick Maja Herzbach, and from May 29, 2012 with Julia Torn. Since August 27, 2012 he has been moderating the afternoon at Welle Nord.

In June 2016, the WDR announced that Andresen will be working as a presenter again for WDR 2 in addition to his moderation at NDR 1 Welle Nord and Schleswig-Holstein Magazin . From August 2016 he took over the moderation of the afternoon route from 2 to 7 pm and from spring 2017 the program "Der Morgen".

Andresen is a moderator at tagesschau24 and the tagesschau . From May 2016 to December 2018 he moderated the Schleswig-Holstein magazine on NDR television alongside Gabi Lüeße .

Even from 2004 to 2006 he worked as a news anchor for the digital ARD transmitter EinsExtra operates. Before that, he read the news in Schleswig-Holstein Magazin on regional television for NDR .

In August 2015 he married the travel journalist Jenny Latuperisa, editor-in-chief of ReisenEXCLUSIV, for a second marriage.

Since September 15, 2016 he has been the spokesman for the morning edition of the Tagesschau.

Podcast

Together with his colleague Anouk Schollähn , Andresen founded the company earpaper in 2006 , which has specialized in podcasting for third-party providers such as the Süddeutsche Zeitung and the Frankfurt Book Fair . The podcast sportal.de radio show won the 2007 German Podcast Award in the commercial production category.
