Controversy about employee Maximilian T.

As a member of the Bundestag, Nolte employs (as of April 2018) the first lieutenant of the Bundeswehr Maximilian T. as a personal advisor. The Federal Prosecutor General investigated against him at times on the suspicion that he and his comrade Franco A. had prepared a "serious act of violence that was dangerous to the state" (see terror investigations against Bundeswehr soldiers from 2017 ). T. had applied for a house ID for the German Bundestag from its administration. The Bundestag police denied him this after the routine background check (query in various databases such as Inpol and others). In October 2018, the Federal Prosecutor closed the investigation against Maximilian T. without charge. The Military Counter-Intelligence Service (MAD) and the Federal Office for the Protection of the Constitution have classified Maximilian T. as a right-wing extremist (as of February 2020).
