Jastrzębia is a village with a Schulzenamt in the municipality of Lanckorona in the Powiat Wadowicki of the Lesser Poland Voivodeship in Poland .
geography
The place is located on the Jastrzębka stream in Pogórze Wielickie .
The neighboring towns are Lanckorona in the west, Izdebnik in the north, Sułkowice in the east.
history
The place was first mentioned in 1402 as Jastrzambie .
From the late 14th / early 15th century until the partitions of Poland , it belonged to the Starostei of Lanckorona Castle .
During the first partition of Poland , Jastrzębia became part of the new Kingdom of Galicia and Lodomeria of the Habsburg Empire in 1772 (from 1804). At that time the village belonged to Rainer von Austria . From 1782 the city belonged to the Myslenice district , from 1819 with the seat in Wadowice .
In 1918, after the end of the First World War and the collapse of the Austro-Hungarian monarchy, Jastrzębia came to Poland. This was only interrupted by the occupation of Poland by the Wehrmacht in World War II . It then belonged to the Krakow district in the General Government .
From 1975 to 1998 Jastrzębia belonged to the Bielsko-Biała Voivodeship .
