Jean Byron

Jean Byron (* as Imogene Burkhart on December 10, 1925 in Paducah , Kentucky ; † February 3, 2006 in Mobile , Alabama ) was an American actress .

Jean Byron began her career in 1952 with the lead role in the film Voodoo Tiger alongside Johnny Weissmuller . After two more films - the best known The Serpent of the Nile (1953, Serpent of the Nile by William Castle ), in which she played Cleopatra's servant ( Rhonda Fleming ). Since the mid- 1950s , she has appeared primarily in television series , including Fury , 77 Sunset Strip and Batman . Her most famous role since 1963 was Natalie Lane on The Patty Duke Show . After 1975 Byron retired from film work with two brief exceptions.

Byron's marriage to actor Michael Ansara remained childless and divorced in 1956.
