Jean Raphael Vanderlei Moreira (born June 24, 1986 in Campo Grande ), usually called Jean , is a Brazilian football player .
Career
society
Jean Raphael Vanderlei Moreira started his career at Operário FC in 2001 and moved to São Paulo FC in 2002 . In 2005 he made the leap into the first team. In his first years as a professional, he was awarded to three different clubs in order to gain match practice. Initially, his contact points in 2006 were América FC and Marília AC . During the European winter break, Jean was loaned to Portugal to second division club FC Penafiel . After the end of the 2017/18 season, he returned to São Paulo and was able to play 23 games (two goals) in the wake of winning the club's sixth national championship in 2008 .
In 2012, Fluminense FC from Rio de Janeiro took over 35% of the rights and also loaned Jean. The loan included the option to take over another 50% of the rights in 2013. He scored his first goal for Fluminense on August 12, 2012 in the game against Palmeiras São Paulo . In his first year at Fluminense he was able to win the championship again, playing 35 of 38 possible games (one goal). For the 2013 season, the club took up the purchase option.
In early 2016, Jean left the club and went back to São Paulo , where he joined Palmeiras . He was also able to win the championship in 2016 and 2018 with the club . For the 2020 season he was loaned to Cruzeiro Belo Horizonte .
National team
In 2012 he made his debut in the 1: 2 defeat against the Argentine national team for the Brazilian national team . Between 2012 and 2013 Jean made six international appearances for the senior national team.
