Jean V. de Hénin
Jean V. de Hénin (born August 9, 1499 in Boussu ; † February 12, 1562 there) from the House of Hénin was the son of Philippe de Hénin, Seigneur de Boussu , and Catherine de Ligne.
As early as 1511, when he was 12 years old, he inherited his father's property, Boussu , Blaugies and Gammerages ( Galmaarden ), when it fell off Venlo . In 1531 he was accepted into the Order of the Golden Fleece . During this time he married Anna of Burgundy (the marriage already existed on March 29, 1532), the daughter of Adolf of Burgundy , Herr zu Beveren , heiress of Beurvry , Choques and La Fosse and widow of James III. , Count of Horn . In 1555 he was appointed Count of Boussu of the Netherlands. In 1558 he was appointed to the Dutch Council of State. In addition, he was Vogt of Valenciennes .

Jean V. de Hénin and Anna of Burgundy were buried in Boussu.
