Adolf of Burgundy (* 1489 ; † 1540 ) was Lord of Veere and Admiral of the Netherlands. He was a son of Philip of Burgundy († 1498) and Anna von Borsselen († 1518).

In 1498, with the death of his father, he received the inheritance of his father, Beveren and the county of La Roche , but also that of his mother: Veere and Vlissingen , Brouwershaven , Tournehem , Crèvecœur , Arleux , Westkapelle , Duyvelandt , Rumilly , Saint-Souplet and Chocques , Cambrai Castle and Aire Vice- County .

On September 15, 1509 he married Anna von Glymes (* 1492; † 1541), the daughter of Johann III. von Glymes , Herr von Bergen op Zoom from the House of Glymes . In 1516 he was accepted into the Order of the Golden Fleece . In 1517 he followed his great uncle Philip of Burgundy († 1524) as Admiral of the Netherlands when he was appointed Bishop of Utrecht . He was imperial counselor and chamberlain, admiral and Grand Bailli of Hainaut . After his death, his son Maximilian of Burgundy followed him both as Lord of Veere etc. and as Admiral.
