Elena Koshcheyeva

Jelena Koschtschejewa ( Russian Елена Евгеньевна Кощеева , English transcription Yelena Koshcheyeva ; born February 17, 1973 in Taras ) is a former Kazakh long jumper .

At the Olympic Games in Atlanta in 1996 and in Sydney in 2000 , she was eliminated from the qualification as well as at the World Athletics Championships in Seville in 1999 and Edmonton in 2001 .

Her most successful year was in 2002 when she won gold at the Asian Athletics Championships in Colombo and bronze at the Asian Games in Busan . After another preliminary round at the 2003 World Cup in Paris / Saint-Denis, she was eleventh at the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens.
