Jembi ( Kazakh Ембі ; Russian Эмба Emba ) is a city in western Kazakhstan in the center of the Aqtöbe region with about 11,800 inhabitants.

The village, which was founded in connection with the construction of the Orenburg - Tashkent railway line in the 1900s, is located in Audany Mughalschar on the left bank of the 712 km long Emba River , which flows to the Caspian Sea , and on the A26 highway 96 km southeast of the regional capital Qandyaghasch .

In 1937 the village received urban-type settlement status and in 1967 Jembi was granted city rights.
