Jenner Armor

Jenner Bourne Maude Armor (born November 15, 1932 - † July 25, 2001 ) was a Dominican politician and acting President of Dominica (June 21, 1979 - February 15, 1980).

Life

Armor was educated in law at the University of London . He worked as a lawyer in Dominica for 40 years. After Fred Degazon's escape on June 10, 1979 and the resignation of Louis Cools-Lartigue during the constitutional crisis, Armor was appointed acting incumbent by the House of Assembly (June 21, 1979). Degazon did not officially resign until January 18, 1980. Jenner was then only in office until February 15, 1980, his successor was Aurelius Marie .

Armor became Deputy Speaker of the Dominica Parliament in 1985 . And served as the MP and Attorney General from 1990 to 1995. He died on July 25, 2001.
