Jens Ackermann
Jens Ackermann (born July 2, 1975 in Magdeburg ) is a German politician ( FDP ).
education and profession
After graduating from the Börde-Gymnasium in Wanzleben in 1994 , Ackermann initially did his military service and then from 1995 to 1998 trained as a nurse and paramedic in Magdeburg. In 1999 he took his final exam as a paramedic . In addition to his job in the rescue service at the company Krankentransport und Rettungsdienst Ackermann GmbH and as a teaching nurse in the Protestant nursing school of the Pfeiffer Foundations in Magdeburg, he studied nursing and health science with a focus on medical education at the Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg from 1998 to 2005 the degree as a medical pedagogue.
Political party
Ackermann has been a board member since 2005 and chairman of the FDP district association Börde since 2007 and was chairman of the state committee for social affairs and health of the FDP state association from 2006 to July 2007.
MP
From 2000 to 2004 Ackermann was a member of the municipal council of his hometown Bottmersdorf in the Magdeburg Börde and was also chairman of the FDP parliamentary group. Since 2004 he has been a member of the district council of the Bördekreis and since July 1, 2007 of the newly formed district of Börde .
Ackermann was a member of the German Bundestag from October 2005 to October 2013 .
He achieved 9.7% of the first votes in the Bundestag election 2009 on September 27, 2009 in the Bundestag constituency Börde - Jerichower Land . He was in second place on the FDP state list of Saxony-Anhalt and thus moved into the Bundestag.
Jens Ackermann was chairman of the FDP parliamentary group in the Bundestag committee for health and in the committee for tourism . Since 2010 he has been chairman of the German-Hungarian parliamentary group .
Private
Ackermann is single and has a son. He is of the Protestant denomination. After leaving the Bundestag, he joined his parents' ambulance company.
