Jeremy Leven

Jeremy Leven (born August 16, 1941 in South Bend , Indiana ) is an American screenwriter , director , producer and writer .

biography

Jeremy Leven was born in South Bend, Indiana and raised in Chicago , Illinois . Leven studied at Harvard University , Yale University , St. John's College in Annapolis, Maryland , and the University of Connecticut before becoming a psychologist in Northampton. Meanwhile, he founded the satirical magazine The Proposition , which was produced for more than ten years. In 1980 Jeremy Leven brought out his first book - Creator - which was made into a film in 1985 under the direction of the author.

Leven also directed the 1995 film Don Juan DeMarco, which he wrote . He turned down an offer of around $ 2 million for the script because he wanted to produce the film himself.
