Jerome Edward Listecki (born March 12, 1949 in Chicago , USA ) is Archbishop of Milwaukee .

Life

Jerome Edward Listecki received on 14 May 1975 by the Archbishop of Chicago , John Cardinal Cody , the sacrament of Holy Orders .

On 7 November 2000 appointed him Pope John Paul II. To the titular of Nara and auxiliary bishop in Chicago. The Archbishop of Chicago, Francis Cardinal George OMI , donated him episcopal ordination on January 8, 2001 ; Co- consecrators were the Archbishop of Portland, Oregon , John George Vlazny , and the Archbishop of Kansas City , James Patrick Keleher . On December 29, 2004, John Paul II appointed him Bishop of La Crosse . The inauguration took place on March 1, 2005. On November 14, 2009 Pope Benedict XVI appointed him . to the Archbishop of Milwaukee. The inauguration took place on January 4, 2010.
