Jesús Alberto Angulo Uriarte (born January 30, 1998 in Culiacán ) is a Mexican football player who is on loan from Santos Laguna to Atlas Guadalajara . The left full-back has been a Mexican international since September 2018 .

His older brother of the same name, Jesús Angulo, is also a soccer player.

Jesús Angulo was born in Culiacán and started playing football with the Águilas de la UAS in Sinaloa . In early 2013, he joined the youth department of Santos Laguna from the city of Torreón . The team bus had an accident on the return journey from a championship game of the U17 team against the CD Cruz Azul selection on January 12, 2014. The team doctor had a fatal accident, while Jesús Angulo was without serious injuries.

In the 2017/18 season he was already increasingly found in the first team's squad. In the 2: 0 home win against FC Juárez in the Copa MX debuted the left -back for the men of Guerrero . He made his debut in the top Mexican division on September 17, 2017 (9th matchday of Apertura) in the 1: 2 away defeat against CD Cruz Azul, when he was substituted on for Ventura Alvarado in the 62nd minute of the game . On June 23, 2019, Jesús Angulo switched to league rivals Atlas Guadalajara on loan for the entire 2019/20 season . He made his debut on July 20, 2019 in a 1-0 home win against FC Juárez. He quickly established himself on the starting line-up and played 15 games in Apertura 2019 . Due to a metatarsal fracture in early January 2020, he missed all competitive games until the 2020 Clausura was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic .
