Jesús María López Mauléon OAR (born March 5, 1955 in Mués , Navarra , Spain ) is a Spanish religious and appointed Roman Catholic prelate of Alto Xingu-Tucumã .

Life

Jesús María López Mauléon joined the order of the Augustinian Recollects and made temporary profession on August 22, 1976 . López Mauléon put on 18 October 1980, the perpetual profession and was on 4 November of the same year by the Archbishop of Pamplona y Tudela , José María Cirarda Lachiondo , the deacon ordained. On July 18, 1981, he received the sacrament of ordination through the prelate of Marajó , Alquilio Alvarez Diez OAR .

On November 6, 2019, Pope Francis appointed him the first prelate of the Alto Xingu-Tucumã territorial prelature, which was established on the same date. The episcopal ordination is planned for December 29, 2019.
