Jesse Curran (born July 16, 1996 in Burnie ) is an Australian football player .

Career

Jesse Curran was born to a Scottish father and Filipino mother in Burnie , Tasmania . He played for Devonport City, Blacktown City and the Central Coast Mariners in his youth . For the Mariners, Curran played in the National Youth League, among others .

In March 2015 he moved to Dundee FC in Scotland after completing a trial session. He made his professional debut on October 3, 2015 in the first division game against Motherwell FC when he came on for Kevin Thomson . In November of the same year he was on loan from the Scottish fourth division club FC Montrose . For the club he played three times in League Two . After his return to Dundee he came under Paul Hartley to two more appearances in the first division. In the new season he came for Dundee in one game in the League Cup (July 30, 2016) and in the league (December 10, 2016). From March to April 2017 Curran was awarded to third division club FC East Fife . In the 2017/18 season he played eight games for Dundee FC. In the following season , the Australian was able to fight for a regular place in Jim McIntyre's team . In December 2018, he scored his first professional goal in the game against Hamilton Academical .

After being without a club from July 2019 to December 2019, he signed a contract with Muangthong United in January for the 2020 season . The Thai club from Pak Kret , a northern suburb of the capital Bangkok , play in the country's highest league, the Thai League . In the same month he was in the in the 2 Thai League playing Udon Thani FC from Udon Thani borrowed.
