Yevgeny Borissowitsch Lapenkow ( Russian Евгений Борисович Лапенков ; born August 1, 1984 in Moscow , Russian SFSR ) is a Russian ice hockey player who has been under contract with Severstal Tscherepowez in the Continental Hockey League since December 2018 .
Career
Yevgeny Lapenkow began his career as an ice hockey player with Vitjas Chekhov , for which he was active from 2001 to 2003 in the Vysschaya League , the second Russian division. Then the attacker spent the 2003/04 season at Metallurg Novokuznetsk in the super league . From 2004 to 2006 he played again in the Wysschaja Liga - this time for Kristall Saratow , Kristall Elektrostal and Chimik Woskressensk .
From 2006 to 2008 Lapenkow stood for one season each for Lokomotive Yaroslavl and his ex-club Metallurg Novokuznetsk in the super league on the ice. For the 2008/09 season , the Russian moved to Neftechimik Nizhnekamsk from the newly founded Continental Hockey League , which he left after one and a half years towards the end of the following season . Subsequently, Lapenkow was under contract with Neftechimiks KHL league rivals HK Spartak Moscow , before he returned to Neftechimik Nizhnekamsk in January 2011 after just under a year. After he had started the 2011/12 season at Neftechimik, he was transferred to Ak Bars Kazan in October 2011 in exchange for Dmitri Obuchow . For Ak Bars he then completed 10 KHL games. For the 2012/13 season Lapenkow was obliged by HK Yugra Khanty-Mansiysk before he moved to Avtomobilist Yekaterinburg in November 2012 .
In the summer of 2013 he returned to Metallurg Novokuznetsk and got 27 scorer points in 50 games this season. He then returned to Awtomobilist before being handed over to HK Sochi in October 2014 .
He started the 2015/16 season again at Neftechimik Nizhnekamsk, before being exchanged for Igor Vladimirovich Volkov from HK Yugra Khanty-Mansiysk in November 2015 .
