Ivan Alexandrowitsch Lekomzew ( Russian Иван Александрович Лекомцев ; born July 19, 1985 in Glazov , Russian SFSR ) is a Russian ice hockey player who has been under contract with Severstal Cherepovets in the Continental Hockey League since July 2018 .
Career
Ivan Lekomzew began his career as a hockey player in his hometown in the youth department of Progress Glazov . From there, the defender moved to Ischstal Ischewsk , for whose professional team he was active from 2003 to 2006 in the Wysschaja Liga , the second Russian division. The 2006/07 season he spent at HK Junost Minsk , for which he only came to two missions in the Belarusian extra league, while he spent the rest of the season with their farm team Junior Minsk in the Belarusian second division.
The 2007/08 season spent Lekomzew at HC Neftekhimik Nizhnekamsk in the Russian Super League . There he could not prevail with three scorer points in 32 games, whereupon he began the following season at the second division Awtomobilist Yekaterinburg . There he scored twelve goals in 38 games and gave eleven templates before he was committed towards the end of the season by HK Lada Tolyatti from the newly formed Continental Hockey League .
After Lekomzew also spent the 2009/10 season with Lada Tolyatti, he moved to the newly promoted HK Ugra Khanty-Mansiysk for the following season within the KHL . With this he then failed in the first playoff round for the Gagarin Cup with 2: 4 wins at HK Metallurg Magnitogorsk .
From December 2012, Lekomzew was under contract with HK Sibir Novosibirsk and completed over 70 KHL games for this by the end of the 2013/14 season. He was then signed by Salawat Yulayev Ufa in May 2014 . At Salawat he did not get beyond the role of a supplementary player and was therefore given to HK Awangard Omsk in September 2015 in exchange for Maxim Goncharov .
