The Jezerní potok (German Seebach ) is a right tributary of the Moldau / Vltava in the Czech Republic .

course

The Jezerní potok rises on the northeast slope of the Plöckenstein / Plechý (1378 m nm) in the Plöckensteinsee / Plešné jezero. Its source is in the Bohemian Forest on the edge of the Trojmezná hora natural monument. On its course to the north the brook flows between the Koňský vrch ( Roßberg , 1023 m nm) and the V pařezí (1146 m nm), then through the natural monument Jezerní luh.

At the northwestern foot of the Rosenauerův les (954 m nm) the Jezerní smyk ditch is diverted to the Schwarzenberg alluvial canal . At the Rosenauerkapelle ( Rosenauerova kaple ) the Jezerní potok is led in a small aqueduct over the alluvial canal. Then the brook takes a north-easterly direction, in Jelení it turns on the Plešivec ( Flößberg , 977 m nm) to the southeast and flows between the Perník ( Lebzelterberg , 1048 m nm) and the Jelenský vrch (823 m nm) along. Its lower course leads past Nová Pec , Hojsova Pila, Dlouhý Bor , Vltava and Nové Chalupy to the east, where it is bridged by the České Budějovice – Černý Kříž railway line .

After nine kilometers, the Jezerní potok flows below the Höpfelmühle between Vltava and Nové Chalupy into the Lipno reservoir in Moldova .
