Location of Ji County in Tianjin

Ji (蓟县; Pinyin : Jì Xiàn) is a district in the government- immediate city ​​of Tianjin in northern China .

Ji County is located in the north of the Tianjin Administrative Area. It has an area of ​​1,593 km² and around 810,000 inhabitants (end of 2004). It has a population density of 508.47 inhabitants per km². Ji had traditionally belonged to Hebei Province and was only attached to Tianjin City in September 1973.

In the Ji district there is the Dule Temple and the Qianxiang Temple (Thousand Figure Temple), which are on the list of monuments of the People's Republic of China .
