Chris Scoville (born February 17, 1984 in Grand Rapids , Michigan ), better known by his ring name Jimmy Jacobs , is an American wrestler . He currently appears regularly at various independent promotions . His greatest achievement so far has been receiving the ROH World Tag Team Championship five times with BJ Whitmer (twice), Tyler Black (also twice) and Steve Corino .

Career

Scoville was trained by Joe "El Tejano" Ortega and Truth Martini. On May 1, 1999 Scoville made his debut with Lakeshore Wrestling Organization (LsWO). This was followed by engagements at various independent promotions (e.g. Independent Wrestling Revolution , IWA Mid-South or NWA Mid American Wrestling ). His first title, the XICW Light Heavyweight Championship , Scoville won on April 8, 2001 in Xtreme Intense Championship Wrestling . On June 28, 2003, Scoville first appeared on Ring of Honor (ROH). On December 19, 2003 Scoville appeared at the German wrestling promotion Westside Xtreme Wrestling (wXw). There Scoville won the wXw World Heavyweight Championship . He gave the title to Double C on December 27, 2003 . 2004 feuded Scoville, ROH, against Alex Shelley .

On April 2, 2005 , Scoville won the vacant ROH World Tag Team Championship with BJ Whitmer . They gave the title to The Carnage Crew ( DeVito and Loc ) on July 9, 2005 . From the same they won the title again on July 23rd. After Scoville and Whitmer surrendered the title to Sal Rinauro and Tony Mamaluke on October 1, the tag team disbanded and Scoville began a feud with Lacey and Brent Albright against his former partner BJ Whitmer , Colt Cabana and Daizee Haze . The feud ended on March 31, 2007 in a steel cage match , which Whitmer won .

On November 26, 2005 Scoville caused a scandal at the independent promotion All American Wrestling (AAW) in Berwyn , Illinois . He brought with him the IWA Heavyweight Championship, which was being fought by IWA Mid-South at the time , and tossed it in a garbage can during an angry promotion in which Scoville revealed internal affairs during the promotion, which is a dishonor in wrestling.

In October 2007, formed Scoville with Tyler Black , the tag team The Age Of The Fall . This was later joined by Necro Butcher , Joey Matthews , Zach Gowen , Delirious , MsChif and Allison Wonderland . On December 30, 2007 , Scoville won the ROH World Tag Team Championship with Black. They gave the title on January 26, 2008 to No Remorse Corps ( Davey Richards and Rocky Romero ). In March 2008 Scoville took part in the 16 Carat Gold Tournament at Westside Xtreme Wrestling (wXw) in Germany . 2008 feuded Scoville of Black, Delirious and Brodie Lee against Austin Aries and Lacey . On 6 June 2008 won Scoville again the ROH World Tag Team Championship with Black. In July 2008, won Scoville and Black in Pro Wrestling Guerrilla , the PWG World Tag Team Champion title from Roderick Strong and El Generico . On September 19th, 2008 Scoville and Black gave the ROH World Tag Team Championship to Kevin Steen and El Generico.

In January 2010, Scoville began a feud against Jon Moxley at Dragon Gate USA . The feud ended on October 29, 2010 in an I quit match which Scoville won . After Scoville's tag team partner Tyler Black had signed a development contract with the WWE , the tag team The Age Of The Fall broke up. It wasn't until September 15th that he was able to win the ROH World Tag Team Championship again. At the same time he founded the stable SCUM with his partner Steve Corino and the reigning ROH World Champion Kevin Steen .
