Joëlle De Brouwer
Joëlle De Brouwer (born October 18, 1950 in Maubeuge ) is a former French middle and long distance runner .
Life
At the 1976 World Cross Country Championships in Chepstow, she was sixth. In 1978 she was twelfth over 3000 m at the European Athletics Championships in Prague and fourth at the World Athletics Championships in Sittard in 1980 over the same distance . At the European Athletics Indoor Championships in Grenoble in 1981 , she did not reach the goal over 1500 m .
In 1983 she won the Neuf-Brisach marathon and the 20 km from Paris , and in 1984 the 25 km from Berlin .
In total, she was four times French champion over 3000 m (1975, 1978, 1980, 1981) and eight times in cross country (1975–1979, 1981, 1983, 1984). She was once national champion in the 1500 m outdoors (1977) and once indoors (1981).
