Joachim Czichon
Joachim Czichon (* 1952 in Pokój , Poland) is a German painter and sculptor .
biography
- Born 1952 in Carlsruhe, Oppeln OS / today Pokój (Poland)
- 1959 move to the FRG
- 1972 Abitur at the Schiller-Gymnasium, Offenburg
- 1973 to 1978 studies at the State Academy of Fine Arts in Karlsruhe with Herbert Kitzel . 1st state examination, then community service. Freelance work since then.
- from 1976 onwards there was regular exhibition activity in solo and group exhibitions at home and abroad
- 1981 Scholarship from the Baden-Württemberg Art Foundation
- 1991 Franz Joseph Spiegler Prize from the Schrade Gallery , Mochental Castle
- 1996 Promotion Prize of the Lovis Corinth Prize of the Artists' Guild
Joachim Czichon is a member of the Artists Association of Baden-Württemberg and of the German Association of Artists. Since 2017 he has been living and working in a 500 square meter studio in Knittlingen / Enzkreis.

Design of the sculpture for the Karlsruhe lecture "Open your mouth"
