Life

Wedekind received his acting lessons from Lilly Ackermann at the training institute for young stage talent . Already during the Second World War he took part in a few films.

In the post-war period he began writing radio plays and screenplays. His radio plays had titles like Donner über der Stadt , Tendenz dull , Das Kind im Jeep and Alles Reklame . In the 1950s he was involved as an author or co-writer in numerous German feature films, of which I often think of Piroschka was particularly successful. Wedekind put an end to his life himself.
