Joaquim de Lange
Joaquim de Lange CSSp (born March 5, 1906 in Sint Nicolaasga , Netherlands ; † July 14, 1992 ) was a Dutch Roman Catholic religious and prelate of Tefé .
Life
Joaquim de Lange joined the Congregation of the Holy Ghost in and received on 25 July 1933, the sacrament of Holy Orders .
Pope Pius XII appointed him on July 19, 1946 as Apostolic Prefect of Tefé. After the elevation of the prefecture to the territorial prelature of Tefé , he was appointed its apostolic administrator on September 4, 1950 .
On April 18, 1952, Pius XII appointed him. as prelate of Tefé and titular bishop of Photice . The Archbishop of São Sebastião do Rio de Janeiro , Cardinal Jaime de Barros Câmara CSSp, donated him episcopal ordination on July 6 of the same year . Co- consecrators were the Archbishop of Manaus , Alberto Gaudêncio Ramos , and the Archbishop of Belém do Pará , Mário de Miranda Vilas-Boas .
He participated in all four sessions of the Second Vatican Council as a council father .
On May 26, 1978 he renounced his titular seat due to the changed allocation guidelines. Pope John Paul II accepted his age-related resignation on December 15, 1982.
