Johann Arnold Caspar Brügmann

Johann Arnold Caspar Brügmann was a German politician and mayor of the city of Dortmund .

After Napoleon took possession of the city of Dortmund and the surrounding county on November 7, 1806, French administrative structures were introduced. Dortmund became the seat of the Ruhr Department and at the same time the Mairie was set up. The Mairie Dortmund consisted of the city of Dortmund and today's districts and the former villages of Huckarde , Dorstfeld , Wambel and Körne .

On March 1, 1808, the Dortmund citizen Johann Arnold Caspar Brügmann was appointed Mayor . He occupied this office until February 7, 1812. His successor was Franz Mallinckrodt .
