Johann Friedrich von Marschalck (born November 26, 1618 in Bremervörde , † March 16, 1679 at the Bergenhus Fortress ) was Chancellor of the Danish King for Norway with his seat in Bergen (Norway) .

Life

Johann Friedrich von Marschalck was the son of Bremen-Verden's Drosten Levin of Marschalck on Hutloh ( Hechthausen ), the 1628/1629 chancellor of the German law firm in Copenhagen was, and the family came Marschalck of Bachtenbrock from erzstiftisch-bremischem nobility . With him ended a 400-year tradition of chancellorship in Norway.

Johann Friederich von Marschalck was the son-in-law of Jens Ågessøn Bjelke and brother-in-law of Ove Bjelke , Henrik Bjelke and Jørgen Bjelke . His son Christian Friedrich von Marschalck (* approx. 1650; † 1719) was a Danish cavalryman and temporary owner of the Norwegian castle Austrått . Another son, Levin († 1686), was also canon in Lübeck in 1673 on presentation of his father.
