Johann von Vogel

Johann von Vogel (born August 30, 1798 in Nuremberg , † March 10, 1870 in Ansbach ) was a German lawyer and politician .

Life

Born the son of a businessman and trader, Vogel studied law in Erlangen after attending grammar school in Nuremberg . During his studies in 1817 he co-founded the old Erlanger fraternity . After his studies he worked as a legal intern , from 1824 as state bankruptcy and from 1831 as an actuary at the district court of Markt Erlbach . In 1834 he became second assessor at the Cadolzburg Regional Court and in 1836 civil adjunct at the Markt Erlbach Regional Court. In 1845 he was county judge at the district court Dinkelsbühl and 1854, Regierungsrat in the government of Middle Franconia . In 1862 he was also chairman of the Protestant consistory in Ansbach , and in 1865 in Bayreuth . In 1863 he became government director in the government of Upper Franconia . In 1866 he was the royal Bavarian ministerial administrator of the State Minister of the Interior . In 1866 he retired.
